Here at Griffin Children's Books
We take Children's Literature seriously. Yes, kid lit is often fun, whimsical, and sometimes downright silly. However, enlightening, teaching, and entertaining our young people is an important job. We strive to bring the best books to these children as we possibly can.
We are a small independent publisher with offices in California and Florida. Founded by two Seton Hill MFA alumni, Griffin Children's Books, an imprint of its parent company, BiCoastal Publications LLC, strives to bring quality books to today's ever-changing book market. We are completely dedicated to our authors and using our twenty-plus years of combined writing and editing experience, work hands-on with every project.
J. C. Mastro
John is the author of Academy Bound, and contributor and editor to the Outstanding Creator award-winning Dragons of a Different Tale Anthology. He has an MFA from Seton Hill University in Popular Fiction and is an expert editor and our resident design wizard.
He loves all things Sci-fi and Fantasy, adult, YA, and middle grade novels.
Jeannie Davide Rivera
Jeannie is the award-winning author, of Twirling Naked in the Streets and No One Noticed, and the middle-grade novel, Frederick Moody and the Secrets of Six Summit Lake. With an MFA from Seton Hill University in Popular Fiction, she excels at editing, and coaching authors in order to transform their work into the fantastic story they want to tell.
She has a special place in her heart for middle grade novels, but historical romances, especially Regency era are a very close second..
